Each year we offer community groups the chance to get their projects off the ground, purchase much-needed equipment or fund arts and cultural activities, through the Ku-ring-gai Community Grants Program. The aim of the grants program is to build and strengthen our community through projects that help increase social cohesion and develop healthy and resilient communities.

Ku-ring-gai Community Grants 2025 applications are now open and close on 9 May 2025.

Please note all previous 2024 Community Grants recipients must have submitted their acquittal form(PDF, 131KB) and any associated paperwork by 31 May 2025.

The Ku-ring-gai Community Grants Program has three funding categories to support community based initiatives:

  • Community Development.
  • Small Equipment.

Grant information workshop

Ku-ring-gai Community Grants information workshop is to assist community organisations with the preparation of their grant’s applications. This will provide an opportunity to seek clarification on grant guidelines, priority funding areas, the assessment process and ask questions about your project proposal.

When: Friday 11 April.

Time: 10.30am to 12 noon.

Where: Council Chambers in Gordon.
