Zero waste cooking demonstration

Expert chef Rachel Potter will show you how to make delicious, low-cost meals using food scraps, using a portable induction cooktop. Get some new recipe ideas and taste the results from the cooking demonstration.

Rachel will share recipes for:

- beet-top and seasonal fruit salsa

- make and refill pancake mix

- seasonal fruit skin snacks and flavoured powder

- pickled cauliflower leaves and pumpkin skins

- fennel top and celery leaf pesto.

Workshop to be held in the main (large) tent at Sustainable Futures Day in Cameron Park, Turramurra.

Rachel Cambridge-Potter is a third-generation beekeeper who reveres nature’s biodiversity, and endeavours to limit her impact on the earth. Rachel was raised by her grandmother in Wahroonga who taught Rachel self-sufficiency and sustainability skills, not because it was fashionable, but rather out of necessity. Rachel teaches zero-waste food workshops, sustainable-living workshops, and beekeeping workshops in Sydney.
