Youth Week - Mural workshops

Join this workshop series to learn from expert mural artist Jeff McCann about the mural painting process. You’ll gain practical skills in tracing and painting an outdoor mural.

The mural theme, created by Ku-ring-gai’s young people, is "We are Ku-ring-gai, we are____". It features words and small graphics that reflect how young people see themselves in their community, with phrases like "Diverse, Empathetic, Creative, Bold."

The workshops will run over three days. Young people can sign up for one or all three sessions. No prior experience is needed.

Monday 14th: Tracing Workshop - Learn techniques for tracing murals on walls. (No painting involved).

Tuesday 15th: Painting Workshop - Focus on color blocking and applying the first coat of paint.

Wednesday 16th: Painting Workshop - Apply the second coat of paint.
