Learn a dramatic medium to capture the balance of light and dark in this charcoal still-life drawing course.
You will be guided through the process of creating dark, bold and eye-catching images with bright highlights starting on both white and black paper, moving to a full tonal spectrum.
In working with different types of charcoal and drawing tools, using the golden triangle method and other compositional techniques, studying image composition from the masters to achieve the best impact, you'll be able to create dynamic artworks across the term.
