Starting a school veggie garden

Join us as we look at garden bed choices, soil preparation, planning and selecting seedlings, organic pest control and caring for your plants.

Edible gardening guru Laurie Green will present a workshop especially for teachers and educators to show you how to prepare and plant out a beautiful new veggie garden that will inspire and educate the kids.

We will also look at fun ways to involve young people in the garden and keep the enthusiasm going.

The workshop is free for educators at Ku-ring-gai locations and will be run by Laurie Green, from local business Grow. Gather. Graze.
