Paint with acrylics

Materials required 

• 1 x warm yellow  

• 1 x cool yellow (lemon)  

• 1 x warm red  

• 1 x cool red (crimson)  

• 1 x warm blue (ultramarine)  

• 1 x cool blue (pthalo)  

• 1 x black  

• 1 x Titanium white It is best value to buy a set initially even if there are not all the above colours. 75 ml tubes. Recommended brands: Atelier ‘Interactive’, Matisse ‘Structure’, Golden, W&N,  

• 3 Soft Haired Square or Filbert brushes – 2.5cm, 1.5cm, 1cm width.  

• 1 Soft Haired Round brush – 3mm width. (Bunnings ‘Renoir’ brushes good)  

• 1 x medium size diamond 'Painting' knife  

• 1 x rectangular A3 size white tear-off palette or A3 size flat white palette  

• 1 x cotton rag  

• 1 x ‘Open’ medium 2 small painting surfaces for Week 1 and 2: approx. 30 x 40cm (canvas, canvas board, canvas paper)  

Best paint is quite stiff in texture. Best white from an art store.
