Natural skincare workshop

Next date: Saturday, 30 November 2024 | 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Natural skincare workshop

Want to avoid exposure to harmful chemicals found in commercial skincare products? Learn how to make your own, natural skincare products from common pantry items, fruit and herbs grown in your garden. Shampoos, creams, toothpaste, deodorants – all can be made at home and the final products will be gentle on your skin.

During the workshop we will make natural herbal cream and lip balm for everybody to take them home. You will also receive instructions how to make more skincare products after the workshop.

This workshop is funded by Ku-ring-gai Council's Environmental Levy.

The Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden is one of Sydney's best kept secrets, set across 123 hectares of unique urban bushland and home to two endangered ecological communities as well as 18 threatened species of flora and fauna. The Wildflower Garden is open to the public all year round and has a range of hikes, step-free walking tracks, picnic areas and heritage venue hire as well as a diverse calendar of environmental education programs.
