Native plant identification workshop

What to expect

This workshop is ideal for Bushcare volunteers who want to improve their plant identification knowledge. All welcome!

You will learn:

• basic plant anatomy and taxonomy 

• overview of 3 common plant families and their traits

• how to key out an unknown plant 

• useful botanical terms and resources 

What to bring

Notepad & pen, keep cup (morning tea will be provided). Please wear closed shoes and sun protection.

Where to meet

The workshops on 2 March and 13 September will be held at Dampier's Clearing.

The workshop on 23 May will be held at Bidwells Clearing.
