Mindful Origami Workshop for HSC Students

We’re excited to offer a FREE Mindful Origami workshop for senior high school students preparing for their Higher School Certificate during Youth Week! This unique workshop combines creativity and mindfulness, providing a refreshing break from study stress.

Led by Sayoko Burton a Certified Origami Art Instructor and qualified Art Therapist, the workshop is designed to promote relaxation and mental clarity. Sayoko trained as an art therapist in Sydney and is a member of the International Institute for Complementary Therapists.

Mindfulness allows us to disconnect from our busy lives and focus on the present moment, becoming aware of our actions, thoughts, and surroundings without judgment. Mindful origami embodies this practice by encouraging awareness of each fold, staying connected to your senses and feelings throughout the process and being fully present in the experience.

Take a moment to relax, reset, and experience the calming benefits of mindful origami - it's the perfect way to recharge while honing your focus for the exams ahead!

Healthy snacks will be provided to students prior to the commencement of the workshop, so please arrive at 3.45pm. The workshop will be held from 4pm to 6pm.
