Kids clothing, book and toy swap
Next date: Saturday, 23 November 2024 | 10:00 AM
to 01:00 PM
What to expect
Net Zero Champion residents are hosting a kids toys, books and clothes swap (0-12 years) where you can exchange your used kids clothes, books and toys (in good condition) for new-to-you outfits for the kids in your life.
What to bring
Clothes
Used clothes, shoes and hats in good condition that you would be happy to wear. Please don't bring underwear or dirty or broken/torn items.
Books
Used books in good condition that are not falling apart and are not drawn on.
Toys
- Gently used: gently used toys are preferred. Items should be in good condition, free from significant wear and tear and with all essential parts intact.
- Cleanliness: please clean and sanitise your toys. This includes wiping surfaces, checking for dust and ensuring that toys are free from any dirt or grime.
- No broken or damaged items: broken or heavily damaged toys will not be accepted.
- Working mechanisms: toys with mechanical or electronic components should be in working order.
- Complete Sets: bring complete sets of toys. If a toy originally came with specific accessories, pieces, or instructions, ask that these components be included for a more satisfying swapping experience.
- Battery check: If applicable, check and replace batteries in battery-operated toys.
How does this impact Net Zero?
