Guided Bushwalk - Gibberagong Track

Starting in Wahroonga, this track follows Cockle Creek down to Bobbin Head in the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. There are a number of great waterviews and wildflowers to admire. In the lower section, the walk follows a boardwalk, getting up close to the mangrove wildlife.

This is a guided group walk, all registered walkers must stay with the group for the full duration. It is a 4km return walk and expected to take 3 hours.

A good level of fitness and bushwalking experience is recommended. This is a moderately difficult, grade 3 walking track.

BYO snacks and at least two litres of water. Dress for the weather conditions in outdoor walking clothes, weatherproof jacket, closed toe shoes, hat, sunscreen and sunglasses. Bring your binoculars if you want to birdwatch. 

The event will go ahead in light rain conditions. In the case of extreme weather the walk will be cancelled. You will be notified 24-48 hours prior.
