Guided bushwalk - Cascades Trail, Garigal National Park

This is a guided bushwalk, registered walkers must stay with the group for the entire duration. This walk starts at 9am and is expected to take 3 hours, finishing at 12pm. The track is of medium difficulty, good fitness and bushwalking experience is recommended.
You will see native Australian trees such as Sydney red gums, red bloodwoods and scribbly gums. As you wind your way down to the creek, larger trees make way for species of banksia, dwarf apple, narrow-leafed apple, white wattles, pea, boronia and wax flowers pepper the undergrowth. The trail gets its name from a series of beautiful waterfalls, rock platforms and rockpools at the junction of Middle Harbour Creek and French's Creek.
BYO snacks and 2 litres of drinking water, weatherproof jacket, sunscreen and binoculars. Wear outdoor walking clothes, closed toe shows, hat and sunglasses.
This event will go ahead in light rain conditions. In the case of extreme weather the walk will be cancelled and registered walkers will be notified 24 hours prior via email.
