100th anniversary of 'Old Colonial Architecture'

To mark the 100th anniversary of the publication of Hardy Wilson's book, Old Colonial Architecture in New South Wales and Tasmania, the University of Sydney is hosting an exhibition in the Fisher Library. This is a free event and all are welcome. Click here for more information.

In 1913, Eben Gowrie Waterhouse chose architect William Hardy Wilson to design Eryldene as he was impressed with the architect's previous work - particularly his aesthetic sense and his interest in shadow and textures.
