The upper area wedding lawn is often used for outdoor weddings and celebrations, social events and family photography shoots. The lower garden area has BBQ facilities and synthetic grass lawn popular for family gatherings and children's parties.
Pedestrian access to Swain Gardens is via narrow pathways with some steep inclines and steps. Dogs are permitted to enter the gardens as long as they remain on leash.
Group bookings can be made for up to 50 people at Swain Gardens. Bookings are available for lower garden (tennis lawn) or upper garden (wedding lawn).
