Environmental value

Echo Point Park has a variety of ecological communities. Foreshore areas are important ecologically as they form the transition zone between the aquatic and terrestrial environment. Vegetation includes mangroves which are a habitat for aquatic species and provide a buffer; reduce erosion and maintain water quality.

We request visitors to the site tread lightly in the park by respecting other visitors, past and present, leave no trace and take only photographs.

Aboriginal heritage

Echo Point Park is an area of Aboriginal cultural significance. Please enjoy the park and the surrounding Country but leave everything in its place and in a similar condition.
