How many kids will be attending on the day?
Each group is approximately 20 kids with a minimum ratio of 1 ranger to every 10 children.
My child is older but wants to attend, is this possible?
Yes, available to older kids on request. Occasionally we will run workshops for high school students during school holidays. Please check our calendar for workshop availability.
Does the program in wet weather?
Yes, we can have fun in nature during all conditions. Please pack a good raincoat and suitable footwear.
Will my child be able to fill up water bottle or purchase lunch/ snacks?
Yes there will opportunities to fill up water bottles regularly throughout day. Children are unable to purchase lunch or snacks at the Wildflower Garden.
My child has allergies, how do you manage this with other children in the program?
Please include details during booking process and this information will be provided to Rangers and the program will be adapted where possible. Please note, there is a Macadamia Tree in Caley’s Garden (a primary program delivery area). Please contact the Team on 9424 0353 to further discuss your child’s needs.
Does my child need special shoes or clothes to attend?
No, enclosed shoes and clothing suitable for weather conditions are sufficient.
What should I bring?
Please pack lunch, snacks and water in a backpack. Please also wear clothes appropriate for conditions including hat and enclosed shoes.
My child has a disability, can they attend your program?
Yes, our programs open to all self-supporting children and most of our full day programs can be adapted for accessibility. Please contact the Team on 9424 0353 to further discuss your child’s needs.
