Food for Thought

16 September to Friday 11 October

Food for Thought is a food themed exhibition which explores the appreciation of food as the subject matter from celebrating a meal to our relationship with the food we eat as a source of nourishment, to the lack and abundance of food and the importance of food on our culture and society. Food for Thought will feature artworks from Ku-ring-gai Art Centre’s tutors and students depicting food in art using various art styles and mediums.

Annual Tutor’s Show

1 November to 29 November

The Annual Tutor’s Show is a celebration of the passion and creativity of our dedicated tutors who are practising artists featuring pottery, painting, drawing, mixed media, glass art, printmaking and jewellery. This will be a high quality exhibition with a range of varied works which is not to be missed.

Budding Artists

9 December to 30 January

The Budding Artists Exhibiton celebrates the artistic talents of primary and secondary school students who currently attend Ku-ring-gai Arts Centre term and school holiday programs. The exhibition focuses on our young aspiring artists and their ability to re-imagine, create and express themselves through their enjoyment of art in a diverse range of mediums including pottery, drawings, paintings, printmaking and creative writing.
