Judith Franklin Country Connections

Award winning artist Judith Franklin presents her works in Country Connections, an exhibition featuring the culmination of practice developing both contemporary and traditional approaches to Aboriginal artwork.
Judith’s family are Darkinjung people and have connections to Wanaruah people. Judith is passionate about her culture and draws inspiration from life experiences. She currently resides on Awabakal Country.
Judith has had formal training through Newcastle University and TAFE and also holds a Cert II in Aboriginal Studies. Judith will also be available for two artist led Aboriginal dot painting workshops through the course of the exhibition.
