Heritage Festival

The Ku-ring-gai Heritage Festival will return for its 5th year from 18 April to 19 May.
Ku-ring-gai Council presents a program of events for the Australian Heritage Festival which explores the rich history of Ku-ring-gai and celebrates our Indigenous, natural, built and cultural heritage.
The Festival aims to provide the community with an understanding of the rich history of Ku-ring-gai, developing a deeper connection to the area. Our built environment and our unique natural surroundings provide a vital link to our past and offer a vision for our future.
Along with Council the festival is supported by community organisations and businesses. The event program will be hosted during the Australian Heritage Festival in partnership with the National Trust.
The Festival will include a series of enriching and interesting events including digital photographic displays, open homes, historical talks, walking tours, readings, art workshop and fashion exhibitions from our festival partners.
Please note for the 2025 Festival, Rose Seidler House will be closed due to maintenance. We look forward to having them participate again in 2026.
