Australia Day

Reflect, Respect and Celebrate everything that makes Australia great with family and friends on 26 January.

Lunar New Year

Each year we celebrate Lunar New Year with a wide variety of events including food markets, art exhibitions, calligraphy demonstrations and cultural activities celebrating our diverse community.

Seniors Festival

Each year in March seniors can enjoy a wide variety of events, workshops, expos and outings. The main event of the Festival - 'Everything for Seniors Day' is where Council and local community organisations showcase their fun and interesting activities, these and many other local events will be listed in our Ku-ring-gai Seniors Festival booklet.

Heritage Festival

Ku-ring-gai’s Heritage Festival is a regional celebration of our historic, natural, Indigenous and cultural heritage. Supported by community organisations and businesses the event program runs during the Australian Heritage Festival and will run from 18 April to 19 May.

Gai-marigal Festival

Gai-marigal Festival starts on Sorry Day, Sunday 26 May and goes through to the end of NAIDOC Week; the second week in July each year.

Arts And Cultural Festival

The festival celebrates our diverse and thriving arts and cultural community from 18 June - 24 July and hosts a program of a variety of events to cater for people of varying ages, interests and abilities.

Eco Festival

Ku-ring-gai’s Eco Festival is a community and sustainability-focused festival, promoting innovative green living in a fun, family-friendly way. The Festival runs from 1 September through to 30 September.

Twilight Concert

Picnic under the stars while watching some of Sydney's finest performers at the Twilight Concert in October.
