Proposed improvements
The upgrade will include:
- New drainage infrastructure.
- Kerb and gutter construction.
- Pavement improvements.
- Targeted tree management.
Tree Management Plan
While preserving high-value street trees is a priority, some removals are necessary for construction purposes and due to the poor condition/health of some trees. Council will implement a comprehensive tree replanting program using suitable species upon project completion.
Project timeline
Construction for this first phase of the street upgrade is scheduled for mid-2025, Future improvements will be progressively implemented along the rest of the street, pending resolution of technical challenges, particularly related to local drainage infrastructure.
