Housing scenarios consultation

Better Planning 2024

Public exhibition of Preferred Alternative Scenario

On 31 March 2025, Ku-ring-gai Council held an Extraordinary General Meeting to consider community feedback on alterative options for new housing which could replace the NSW Government’s Transport Oriented Development (TOD) policy in the four railway station precincts of Gordon, Killara, Roseville and Lindfield.

The Council voted unanimously at that meeting to exhibit a preferred scenario for community feedback between 2 April and 22 April 2025, a period of 21 days.  This condensed consultation timeframe is necessary to comply with NSW Government deadlines.

The preferred scenario has been developed in response to extensive community consultation that took place in late 2024 and various technical studies.

Council's Have Your Say website contains detailed information about the preferred scenario. Please read the information and then share your views using the online survey.

Printed copies of the survey are available at the Council’s customer service centre on Level 4, 818 Pacific Highway Gordon.

Feedback closes 22 April 2025 at 5pm.
