Learn how to protect your home at the Ku-ring-gai Bushfire Expo

Ku-ring-gai community members are encouraged to attend a free event which will help them understand bushfire risk and how to protect their home and family.

Ku-ring-gai Council is holding a Bushfire Expo at West Pymble Village Green between 10am and 2pm on Saturday 2 November 2024.

The event has been timed to coincide with the statutory Bushfire Danger Period, which runs between 1 October 2024 and 31 March 2025.

At the event, community members will be able to speak with experts and emergency responders from the Rural Fire Service, State Emergency Service, Neighbourhood Watch, NSW Police, NSW Fire & Rescue and Ku-ring-gai Council.

At the event, you will also be able to explore the fire trucks on site for the day, get free giveaways and enjoy a sausage sizzle and music by local band Project 23.

Admission is free, with no bookings required.

This event has been supported by the Black Summer Bushfire Recovery Grants Program by Sydney North Health Network.
