Ku-ring-gai Councillors confirmed for 2024-2028 term
The NSW Electoral Commission has declared the successful candidates for ten Councillor positions at Ku-ring-gai. These are:
Comenarra Ward
Gordon Ward
- Indu Balachandran
- Barbara Ward
Roseville Ward
St Ives Ward
- Christine Kay
- Martin Smith
Wahroonga Ward
- Cedric Spencer
- Kim Wheatley
Two new Councillors have been elected - Matt Devlin (Comenarra Ward) and Indu Balachandran (Gordon Ward). Find out more information about the election results here.
On Tuesday 8 October, at 7pm, an Extraordinary Council Meeting has been called for Councillors to take the oath or affirmation of office, elect the Mayor and Deputy Mayor and make appointments to committees.

Ku-ring-gai Council General Manager David Marshall congratulated all ten Councillors on their election victories and also thanked outgoing Councillors Simon Lennon and Greg Taylor for their service to the community.
