Ku-ring-gai Council and Impact Business School are teaming up to offer six masterclasses for budding entrepreneurs wanting to make an impact
The online program costs just $25 and will be held on Wednesdays between 11am and 1pm, starting on 1 November and finishing on 29 November. The program will wrap up with a face-to-face networking session on 6 December.
The Ku-ring-gai Impact Entrepreneur Program is designed and led by Patricia Kaziro, the founder of the local Impact Business School.
Patricia has more than a decade of experience as a business owner and coach, working closely with established businesses, early stage entrepreneurs and people transitioning into business who want to position themselves as leaders in their industry by commercialising their knowledge and innovation.
“The program will bring together members of the community to utilise business as a vehicle for change and offer an affordable, accessible way for more people to start their business venture”, Patricia said.
Over six weeks participants will learn how to transform ideas into viable products and create a business that makes a positive impact in the community.
Mayor Sam Ngai said the new program was part of the Council’s increased focus on helping local business owners.
“We have kept the price of the program very low to encourage a wide range of people to join.”
Mayor Ngai added the Council was also seeking interest from local businesses to be part of two panels of preferred suppliers for goods and services.
Spaces for the Ku-ring-gai Impact Entrepreneur Program are limited so early bookings are recommended. To book go to krg.nsw.gov.au/entrepreneur
