More than 25 employers will participate in the Expo on 23 March, aimed at people wanting to work in the aged care sector.

The Expo is being hosted by Ku-ring-gai, Hornsby, Mosman, Northern Beaches, Ryde and Willoughby Councils and the Your Side organisation.

It will be held at the Dougherty Centre in Victor Street Chatswood between 10am and 12.30pm on Thursday 23 March. Admission is free and refreshments and light lunch are available.

Aimed at people wanting a change of career or seeking more information about working in aged care, the Expo will be a forum to meet prospective employers, discuss the different roles available and what qualifications are needed.

The Expo will also feature real life stories from aged care workers discussing their experiences.

Mayor Jeff Pettett said a career in aged care could be rewarding in many ways.

“There are a variety of roles and you can work flexible hours to suit your schedule. It’s also a job that you know is really helping other people.”

Register your place at the Expo and receive a free employment pack.
