Environmental Levy Grants
Applications are now closed for the 2024 grants program
We support a range of projects that protect bushland, engage communities and reduce emissions. If you are an individual or community group wanting to grow an existing project or start something new, apply for a grant this year. Applications will open again in April 2025.
How to apply
Choose one of two categories
- Net Zero Communities Grants: Projects that work with the community to reduce our energy, waste and transport emissions.
- Environmental Conservation Grants: Projects that work with the community to protect and enhance our flora and fauna.

Net Zero Communities
- Education - Electrifying Bradfield Inc. hosted four local Rooftop Solar Talks.
- Waste-free - West Pymble Public Schools ‘Green Canteen’ replaced single-use plastic with reusable items.
- Composting - St Ives Preschool Kindergarten started a composting/food waste network.
Conservation
- Bushland – St Ives High School, Bushcare are protecting Sydney Turpentine Ironbark Forest from weeds.
- Wildlife – WildThings NSW Inc, are monitoring with the ‘Hollows for Wildlife’ program.
