Councillor Devlin was elected as Ku-ring-gai Councillor representing Comenarra Ward at the 2024 local government elections.
Councillor Devlin is a lifelong resident of Ku-ring-gai, and from his early days playing junior footy to his service with the Ku-ring-gai Rural Fire Brigade, he has been actively involved in various community organisations and initiatives. Matt holds a degree in commerce, notably in accounting and finance, and has a strong background in supply chain logistics and project management.
Councillor Devlin has held roles in multinational corporate advisory, industrial and commercial property and asset management with firms such as Goodman, and ProGroup working with School Infrastructure NSW to deliver new and temporary schools.
As an independent Councillor, he is committed to ensuring that Ku-ring-gai Council prioritises the needs of residents and is responsive to community demands.
