Terms and conditions Lindfield Village Green bike rack mural

• Applications for the Lindfield Village Green Bike Rack Mural will open from 11 June 2024 until COB 29 July 2024. The successful artist will be announced in August 2024 and mural work will be completed by December 2024.
• Artists are required to submit all documentation as outlined in the application guidelines.
• All submitted portfolio examples and design ideas must be original.
• Artists from all Greater Sydney locations will be considered, however artists local to the Ku-ring-gai LGA will be highly regarded.
• Successful applicants will be required to hold adequate public liability insurance while undertaking the mural project.
• Successful applicants must agree for all artistic and intellectual rights for the design and production of the mural to reside with Council and Council retains the rights to review, clean or fully remove the mural at its discretion.
• Artists will be given $7,000 to complete all preparation and planning for the artwork. Council will be responsible for putting an anti-graffiti coating on the finished artwork.
• Council reserves the right to decline any submissions. Unsuccessful applications will be notified by email.
• Artists are responsible for planning their artwork to ensure it is delivered on time and within the allocated budget.
• Applicants give permission for Ku-ring-gai Council to publish their name and photo and to film/photograph the artwork in progress and once it is completed.
• Council staff and their family members cannot apply.
• Entrants must be 18 years and older. 
• The judging panel will be made up of Council and community art representatives. Their decision will be final.
