Ku-ring-gai Library is a great place to study and has a dedicated HSC collection. Our collection covers a variety of subjects including study guides, past papers and online databases. These can be accessed in the library or at home with your library membership card.

Library staff are available to support student's enquiries and help you during your learning.

HSC collection

Ku-ring-gai Library Gordon houses a dedicated HSC collection with up to date HSC resources, related texts, study guides and past papers. The HSC borrowing collection is limited to 5 items per card. Standard borrowing conditions apply.

Library databases

Ku-ring-gai Library provides 24/7 access to a collection of online databases that can be used to find newspaper, magazine, and academic journal articles relevant to your HSC studies.

Study at the library

Ku-ring-gai Library's four branches provide a reasonably quiet space for students to study, with access to WIFI, HSC collections and resources, and knowledgeable librarians to guide students enquiry.

Library members have access to bookable study rooms at Gordon Library.

Maximum 2 hour limit.
Only 4 people per room.
$5 (non-refundable) charge applies per room.
You must be a library member to book a study room.

Resources, information and tips helping prepare for exams with access to past papers, study guides and multidisciplinary online resources.
Topics include, English, Maths, Sciences, HSIE, PDHPE & Community and Family Studies, Creative Arts, Languages, Technology – Agriculture, Design & Technology, Food Technology, Engineering Studies, Information & Process Technology.

HSC Hub - State Library NSW

Students will find information and featured content for each of their subjects, help online and onsite, resources you can use at home, and research guides that bring together resources relevant to particular subjects.
Subjects include English, History, Legal Studies, Society and Culture.

HSC Study Sessions- Western Sydney University (run at particular times throughout the year)

Subjects include Advanced; Standard English, Advanced; Standard Maths, Sciences, Economics, Business Studies, Modern History, Geography, PDHPE & Community and Family Studies, Legal Studies.

HSC Subject Support Series- University of Wollongong

On-demand HSC subject-specific online sessions covering course content with tops and strategies helping students during their studies.

LitCharts

LitCharts collection of literature and poetry guides provides access to over 2206 titles and topics, helping students in their learning and understanding in preparation for the HSC.

SparkNotes

SparkNotes guides provide summaries and critical analysis to help you learn and make sense of literature and text and prepare students for HSC success.

Topics include English literature, Shakespeare, history, biography, maths and biology, to name a few.

Provides access to subject-specific materials and resources with tips and advice that support students wellbeing and potential in preparation for the HSC.
