Urvasi in Roseville Chase

'Our two girls attended Family Day Care at Roseville Chase for nearly 2 years. Both girls have found a second home in 'Urvasi's place' and have flourished under her care, particularly our youngest, who was with Urvasi four days per week. Urvasi's warmth, firm but fair discipline, and the engaging environment she creates have contributed to both girls general contentment. The girls really loved going to see Urvasi and their friends in what is as close to a family environment as we could hope. Having experienced quite a few different care situations since our eldest was born, I can honestly say this is the most outstanding experience we have had. We have only ceased care while I am on maternity leave with our third child and will definitely be returning to the Chase when I return to work.'  Alice 

Hongping in Lindfield

'Our daughters have happily attended Hongping's family day care for the past 2 years. Hongping, with her educational qualifications, experience as a mother and warm nature, continues to provide a nurturing, stimulating, caring and inclusive environment for our daughters. I have continued to be impressed with Hongping's unwavering dedication, enthusiasm and interest in each of the children under her care. She is consistently providing the children with new learning opportunities whether it be through craft, role play, visits to the park, planting vegetables, reading books or free play. My daughters have thrived in Hongping's bilingual Mandarin-English environment, developing stronger verbal communication skills in both languages. 'We came to Hongping after a major negligent incident happened with a childcare in another area. After seeing my daughter suffered two months in the hospital, it reminded me the priority should be nothing but safety. 'I am beyond fortunate to have found Tania’s service in St Ives to care for our little girl. It’s been over 15 months now and our daughter just loves her caregiver and she tells her so. She’s always in safe hands! I never have to worry as I know she’s being nurtured and well cared for. You can’t compare family day care to any other paid care. It’s so personal. The daily updates are specific to your child. And we love our outings to ‘playgroup’ so much variation, your child can only blossom in their environment. Ankin in St Ives

'We are incredibly happy with the education and care Ankin has given our 18 month old son. She is very attentive and considerate. She goes above and beyond to meet our son's unique needs (especially regarding feeding issues). She provides more tailored, personal care than large childcare facilities can. She is flexible, adaptable and communicates all concerns promptly. Our son is always happy to go and there are never any tears of grumbles at drop off. Louisa in Castle Cove

Louisa was our 2 year old son’s first day care experience and he absolutely loved it. He almost felt like it was his second home and he made friends with Louisa’s two kids. Castle Cove Kids family day care is truly dedicated to children and their environment. Louisa is so nurturing and caring and was always on call and available to talk through the development of our child. She was amazing at updating us on our son and his daily experience she provided. Our son was so happy to be around the other children and loved every moment at the family day care. My 18 month old son is extremely emotional and we have tried other child care centres but failed as they were unable to provide my son with his emotional needs. We were so glad we found Sue and the whole Ku-ring-gai family day care system. Sue is caring and attentive, without being too overbearing. You have been such a steady support for me in the caring and coaching of them in the past challenging year. I have noticed lots of pleasant changes in them since joining your care. They are a lot more focused when it comes to reading a book or resolving some math problems. They start to quote what you normally teach them about the balance of having fun and striving for academic success. The school report has shown a dramatic improvement since joining your care. I cannot thank you enough for all of these positive transformation in them. I feel very fortunate to have you as an important educator in their life. Joy in Turramurra

I never thought I could trust someone else so much with my baby boy before I met Joy. She is a fantastic educator, she takes good care of our 15 month old boy. Not only is she detail focused, willing to follow the schedule, and flexible to changes, but she is also an expert in child development, she invents all sort of activities and games for the kids. My son enjoys spending time at hers and he is learning new things every day. I would recommend Joy to anyone. Norah

Our daughter loves attending Rainbow Lorikeet Family Day Care with Joy. FDC is only as good as the carer, and Joy is fantastic - so caring and focused on developing children in a strategic (yet fun!) way. You were allowed to choose three words when posting a review, the best word (which wasn’t an option) would be TRUST. I trust Rainbow Lorikeet FDC to develop (not just babysit) my child. Hamish

My daughter runs out of my arms each morning to jump into Sheng's! Sheng is caring and kind, takes the kids to the park across the road regularly and to playgroup, if you go on the right day. Her place is clean with a variety of toys that the kids all love. I highly recommend Sheng and Cuddle Family Day Care. Tash

My son enjoys his time in Cuddle Family Day Care with Sheng. Sheng takes him to playground and the parks all the time. The service is clean and tidy. Sheng is very friendly as well. We would highly recommend this place. Loretta

I have had my kids attending Jane's Family day care from the 1st day she opened mid-2015. My eldest son has already gone to school but my youngest still goes to Jane's. All this time - 3 years - I have been driving my kids from the Northern Beaches to Jane's family day care in Hornsby a couple of days a week. Why? because her day care is truly exceptional. Jane combines cosiness of a family day care with lots of project ambitions enough for a big kindy. There is lots music, craft and storytelling. Every 6 months kids take part in a concert staging a play and singing the songs they had learned. There is a daily news time - I have never heard of another family day care doing that. Kids go on excursions to the local school and playgrounds. And of course they have fun and play!
